In the will of Issac Burrill of Thomson, CT, 26 March 1781, he bequeaths some shillings to his granddaughter Phebe Dyke. Phebe's mother was Esther Burrill, daughter of Isaac Burrill and Phebe Pierce. Esther Burrill married Nathaniel Dyke who is considered to be the founding father of Wellsville, NY. Nathaniel is buried in the Cole Cemetery, Elm Valley, NY.
