My Forbes (later changed name to Forbis) were supposedly from northern Ireland. I believe they came to Ontario from county Armagh around 1800-1815. However, they may have come originally from Scotland during the plantation period when the British relocated some Scots to northern Ireland. Who knows maybe we are related way , way , back..
