She was the widow of John E. Forbes, an employee of the advertising department of the The Star for 35 years, who died in 1935. Mrs. Forbes was born near Dover, MO, and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1900. She was a member of the Central Christian church in Kansas City, Kansas. She leaves two daughters, Miss Dorothy Forbes, 920 Ward parkway, and Mrs. Charlene Moynahan, Pasadena, CA and two grandchildren". I have no connection with this family, this obit was on a copy made for me of another obit.
