Born in Medford, Mss., she was the daughter of the late Hibbert & Lena (Fowler)Forbes. She is survived by daughters Anna (Wallace)Sutherland, Brook Rd; Norma (Ronnie) Baillie and son Andrew (Sharon) Wilson, all from Hedgeville; sister Mabel Carroll, Tatamagouche; brother, Eldon Forbes, Truro; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; companion, James Trainor. She was predeceased by her first husband Harold Tattrie; second husband Chester Wilson; son Harold Tattrie. The remains are resting at MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thurday at St. George's Presbyterian Church, River John, Rev Jeannette Fleischer officiating. Burial in Hamilton's Cemetery.

Dr Forbes is buried next to my ggrandmother Annette Cordelia Rice Johnson. My Johnsons from Hatley, Stanstead, QUE, CAN to Milton & Pensacola FL 1860s.

Hello, Some researchers have a Sarah Forbes as the daughter of John Forbes(b. 1759 VA, d.1854 Laurel Co., KY) and one of his wives. There seems to be evidence that he may have been married 3 or 4 times. to a Druscillah, an Elizabeth WILEY, an Elizabeth WHITSELL and to Mary Polly PIGG Hines. He was a Revolutionary war veteran and lived in Shenondoah Co., Virginia, Clay and Laurel Co's. in Kentucky. You might try looking in those directions for your Sarah.

My great grandfather Arthur Rolly Forbes came out from Scotland in 1869. Lived near Roma Qld. Not sure of exact location he came from in Scotland.

My Charles S Forbes is from Hartford, Windor Co. Vermont, and married Alice Frost Coffin form Haverhill, Essex Co. Massachuseets, and had a child named Marjorie Coffin Forbes in Worcester, Worcester Co. Massachusetts born 12-1-1894. She married Robert Vaughan Sweet Jr. from Rochester, Strafford Co. New Hampshire at Hartford Vermont in 12-02-1916, and thet had Jane(which died at birth in 17 or 18) Jane Sweet in Rochester, Strafford Co. New Hampshire in 5-1919 and Judith Sweet in Rochester, Strafford Co. New Hamphirein 6-6-1920. By 1916 Charles and Alice weren't together any more as it states on the marriage license Alice is already married to Sumner Wallace by this time. My brothers (John and William) lost track of their father some 48 years ago. My mother and their father were stationed first in Virginia and later in the Panama Canal when my mother left.
