He named his children David;Elizabeth Anne;Rachel Jane; Martha Margaret; Henry Dawson; John William; Olivia Mary These may give clues to the names of his and his wife's parents names. I have a photocopy of a photograph of John and Sarah. Not good quality - but John appears to be quite a tall man. he is wearing a full beard. I have been there and seen where the Forbes and Stevenson's lived. My family is descended from Henry Forbes' son Robert, who came to the US with his brother James to meet his 3 sister's Jemima, Rachel and Elizabeth. A cousin Elizabeth also came over later. Our research while we were in Northern Ireland brought to light a brother that lived next door to Henry, James. James married another Stevenson girl and had a child Matthew. He had quite a few children also. If any of this sounds familiar, please let me know.
