Hello List, I've been making progress on the mid-western Fontaine's. Recently made connections with folks in Minnesota and North Dakota and their connection with their Fontaine ancestors from Quebec. The database is growing. Eventually I'll have all my resources straightened out (LOL). Current statistics for the four major Canadian Fontaine lines are: Descendants of: Pierre Fontaine dit Bienvenu - 26684 names Etienne Fontaine - 22855 names Nicolas Pion-Lafontaine - 6653 names [various] Lafontaine - 12637 Of course I still have lots of mistakes, but hopefully with time, many of these will be straightened out. Always need help from others, especially for their families and direct ancestors where resources are better than what I can find. For those people working on the Huguenot lineage's and others, I encourage you to share information on this list too.
