Hello Everyone, I am looking for the marriage date & place as well as the names of the parents of Pierre Desmarais and Aglae Fontaine. They appear in the 1891 census return for Auckland, Compton Co., Quebec. Pierre is recorded as 44 yrs. old and Aglae 42 yrs. old. Also recorded are their children: Agnes, 21; Albina, 18; Alexis, 16; Angelina, 14; Alestance, 11, Jean-Baptiste, 9; and Arthur, 8. Arthur was born in St. Hyacinthe and married Eugenie Mineault at St. Malo, Quebec. (St. Malo is just above the State of New Hampshire, USA.) Aglae died 10 June 1918 at St. Malo. Pierre remarried 12 Dec. 1918 to Elmire Serre at St. Malo. Could sure use some help tracing this couple. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you Annette M. Desmarais adesmar425@aol.com
