Thanks Tony and Thanks for the goodie basket. Just curious.... How did you get my name & address? Did I give it to you? No problem here. You helped us make the connection from the Plattsburg, NY Bienveues and the Fontaines. This was great and the Welcomes in Massachusetts are very happy to know about their Family History. We are even considering the reunion in Quebec next summer. By the way, I have not seen a Newsletter yet. Do you have any past issues that I can read? Happy Holidays from the Welcomes, Brian Oulighan
Hello! My name is Yolanda Fountain. I "think" I have found a link to the Bienvenues, Fountaines, Fontaines, Lafontaines and Lafountaines. (I found several children from the same family in upstate New York who, when they married, the clerk wrote their names differently and "Bienvenue" became "Welcome"! My "supposed family" came from Quebec, moved to upstate NY and their male members worked for the Delaware and Hudson Railway. They lived in or near Whitehall because I am told that some members were buried in "Elbow Cemetary" at Whitehall. Does any of this sound familiar?? If it does please help me, though at this stage in my search, you would probably help me much more than I can help you. Thanks! Yolanda. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Boulig@cs.com> To: <FONTAINE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 24, 2000 2:49 PM Subject: Re: [FONTAINE] Happy Holidays > Thanks Tony and Thanks for the goodie basket.
