He is listed on the l850 Worcester County census aged 35 married to Gatty White Adkins. (Snow Hill Atkinsons Dist 7) He owned property in what is now Pocomoke. There are other Burks in Worcester/Somerset but I am unable to make a connection. His son William A. moved to Crisfield where my grandfather William Frederick and mother Irma Gladys were born. Does anyone have information on a Fontaine daughter who married a Burk(e)? Or, did a Fontaine daughter marry into another family whose daughter than married a Burk(e)? I need your help!
