Have you dared to try this? Sounds interesting , like the recipe for the can of beer up the chickens behind, and cooked on the grill, but a watermelon? I like the whole concept, except eating the carcass of chicken juices and watermelon combined. I think I would discard the watermelon after using it as an incubation vessel !! No, I haven't tried it yet and I'm with you; chicken and watermelon juices sound yucko! The chicken with the beer can up its behind is yummy! Try it! The watermelon itself must work on the same concept as a Tuscan oven. I think I will try this once the price of melons comes down a bit. Cece wrote: > Have you dared to try this? I have to ask one more question. Where did you get this recipe, or do you know its origin? Cece ----- Original Message ----- From: Turk McGee <turkm@ij.net> To: <FOLKLORE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 05, 2001 2:31 PM Subject: Re: [FOLKLORE FAMILY] CHICKEN-IN-A-WATERMELON >
