    1. RE: [FOLKLORE FAMILY] Another from my brother
    2. Thanks Kath and Patti~! For some reason I thought the Thin Man was a series instead of a movie. For some reason I've never been big on bad guy movies though. I recently bought The Glenn Miller Story with Jimmy and really enjoy it. pat :@) It was the Thin Man Pat. He was just a youngster in it. Kath > Well, I've thunk and I've thunk and I just can't come up with what movie > Jimmy Stewart played a bad guy in... you gonna tell us? *grin* > pat :@)

    3. Pat, the Thin Man is funny. :-) there's a mystery, but lots of witty dry humor. :-) Sooo good~! It's not dark at all. Do you remember the Philadelphia Story? (Jimmy was in that too) :-) It's kind of like that with lots of snap, but Nick Charles is a P.I. , recently married to a wealthy socialite, Nora. they have a little dog named Asta. One of my favorite scenes is Christmas morning. Nick had been shot in an uncomfortable place, and was laying on the couch, playing with his Christmas gift. ( a pop gun from Nora) <G> She is reading the newspaper accounts of the shooting. She mentions that it stated he was shot twice in the tabloids, and his reply was, "he didn't come anywhere near my tabloids". LOL~! :-) The Glenn Miller story is great. Haven't seen it in a long time. Used to watch more movies...... <LOL> :-) kath > Thanks Kath and Patti~! For some reason I thought the Thin Man was a series > instead of a movie. 2. I know that I've seen it but it's been many years ago. I'll have to make a point of seeing it again. I collect videos and have lots and lots of old movies. Most are comedy or romance. I watch them over and over again and just never get tired of them. My most favorite movie is 'The Long, Long Trailer' with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez. pat :@) Pat, the Thin Man is funny. :-) there's a mystery, but lots of witty dry humor. :-) Sooo good~!
