The following are from notes I kept of our conversation and from the the local church records. John Flynn occupied the land in 1855 currently owned by Brendan. John had at least three children; James Born July 20, 1856, Thomas and Patrick. The 1901 census lists the owners as Thomas and Bridget Duffy Flynn and the following children Patrick b 1883; Kate b1885; Tim b 1887, Joseph b 1889, Mike b 1891, Sarah b 1893. Some of the baptismal dates differ from the census dates. Joseph b 19 May 1887, baptised 27 may 1887, sponsors: Pat & Mary Duffy. Michael Patrick Flynn b 10 Jan 1889; baptised 23 Feb 1889; sponsors: James Flynn and Mrs Flynn Sarah Flynn b 10 May 1894; baptised 24 May 1884; Sponsors: Patrick Flynn and Mary Fitzpatrick.
