Have you checked Ellis Island site for sailings or did he travel before. I have a Mary Flynn who went to USA through Ellis Island and written on Imgn info that she was going to her sister in New Jersey. She kept in contact with my mothers 1st cousin who remembers letters coming from her to his parents but no address survives today.
