    1. [FLYNN] Flinn/Flynn in Ireland
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Flinn, Flynn, Mulligan, Millikin, Richey, Richie, Ritchey, Ritchie, Edger Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4dW.2ACEB/1406 Message Board Post: We are planning a trip to Ireland in 2005 and would like to do a little research while there. At present I have as my ancestors James Flynn (VA) > Laughlin Flinn ( VA ) > Laughlin Flinn > Thomas Flinn aft 1620 > John Flinn ca. 1600; but I do not know when the early fellows came to America or where they came from in Ireland. Can anyone help? On one of my unrelated lines I have data giving a county of origin in Ireland as Derry, was there ever such a county? or was Londonderry sometimes called Derry? I have thought about Kerry County but since the Derry appears in more than one source I felt the recorders meant to write Derry.
