Greetings from Mandurah, W Australia. I am researching the family of John Flynn, born 1825 at Cahir, the son of John. On 4 June 1855 John married a widow, Catherine Hogan (nee Foley) born c1832. John served at home with the 3rd regiment for almost 6 yrs, and then with the 49th regiment at the battles of Inkerman and Alma until he was wounded.
