Their two oldest sons Charles and William are with them. See Ontario GenWebs census project. Their name is spelled Flin in this census. But all the info matches the John and Thomas and William from 1880 Sanilac Michigan census. It is my guess that there might be a record of their marriage in the Catholic dioceses in this area of Ontario just north of Toronto.
