"Mary Flynn's Family Register The entries are written on a blank page of a copy of "The Lives of the Most Eminent Saints of the Oriental Deserts, or the Wonders of God in the Wilderness, by Bishop Challoner, V.A.L., published by J. McLoughlin, 139 Center Street, New York, in 1841. Opposite the title page is signed the name "Mary Flynn." The signature is repeated on the blank page opposite that on which the entries are made, and below it, in the same hand but a different ink is written "Mary Flynn received this day the 5th of November in the year of our Lord 1862." On the facing page is, Patrick Flynn of Boley and parish of temple port County of Caven Ireland.
