I'm going on the basis of my Flynn's being related to Finnegan's and Golden's, both of which had a large population in Wisconsin, and the fact that I can't find a lot of my "elusive" relatives. My gr gr grandfather was born in Claremorris, Co. Mayo in 1755. His father's name was Martin and his mother was Catherine Dunleavey (another line I can't get a handle on). I know nothing about any of his siblings and was told he moved to Co. Sligo in his youth. The names of Martin, Thomas, John, Patrick, James, Charles, Andrew, Michael and Henry are all found in my line, yet I can find nothing on Martin's, Michael's, Andrew's and Henry's in Co. Mayo or Co.
