Hi all, I may have found the ship that my Great Grandparents James FLINN (later changed to FLYNN) and Jane Frances WYBRANT family arrived on. There are three other Flinn's on the ship that do not fit into my known family. They may have been relatives but don't know. Anyway, here's the data that came up. They first settled in McDonough County Illinois where they can be found in the 1850 Census. Between 1870 and 1880 they had moved to Missouri and about 1881 moved to Nebraska. I have marked the birth dates that I had in parenthesis behind the information. Three children are not on it nor should they be. They are Thomas, b. 1846 d. 1847 in Ireland; James b. 1851 Illinois; Mary b. 1853 d. 1853 Illinois. It really looks pretty promising with all the names and approximate ages accounted for on the one ship. If anyone has any data on the other 3 Flinn's please feel free to contact me and see if there are any matchups. Jane Frances WYBRANT was born in Sheeanamore, County Wicklow, Ireland. To my knowledge the children on the ship were from the Dublin area. Unknown exactly where James FLYNN was born. It gets even more confusing, when a child dies and they name the next one with the same name. I've found Flynn's and Finnegan's living "next door" to each other and the Flynn's had the same first names as my Flynn's, but haven't been able to lock any of them in. I am hoping that maybe some Flynn's in WI are doing genealogy and something that I have posted will ring a bell - everyone has to have a dream. Kathy
