Fl Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Fl/Suwannee/10581 Surname: NELSON, TUTEN ------------------------- I am looking for the descendants of William (Bill) Nelson who, according to family legend was the illegitimate son of William Robert Tuten of Hamilton Co. and Unknown Nelson who I think was from Suwannee Co.. Bill was born in the late 1870's and for a while (1880 census) was living with his father and his wife, Frances Tabitha Williams. He was not living with them according to the 1885 state census. Bill died in the late 1930's or 1940's and had at least two children. He was in contact with the Tuten clan in the 1930's when he arranged to have them literally dig up his money and give it to his children after his death. I would like to correspond with anyone who may have information on Bill and his descendants and ultimately establish contact with his descendants. Would also like to find a date of death and a death certificate for Bill.
