Hmmm.... I know Mathilda was born in 1848 in Lee, Florida, and married Jeptha Webb there. Eveline Peterson married Jeptha's brother, Levy, and had several children. You can find that at gencircles.com. This definitely bears investigating further. Thanks for your help. I'll let you know if I find anything further. My Grant and Parker ancestors also owned land in that area, (O'Brien)and some of the Sullivans married a Webb. I suggest we ponder and then pontificate.
