Hi Elaine, I believe that Jeptha Webb is the son of Levy and Emeline Peterson Webb, which would make him nephew to my ancestor Jeptha Webb. I believe my ancestor is buried at Midway, also, along with his father, Thomas Peter, and mother, Mary Sullivan Webb. How far away from the River is that? Does anyone know? >From: "Ron McCreary" <mccreary@bestnetpc.com> >Reply-To: FLSUWANN-L@rootsweb.com >To: FLSUWANN-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [FLSUWANN] New Boston >Date: Fri, 31 Aug 2001 21:46:33 -0400 > >There is a Jeptha Webb (11/6/1877-10/29/1966) buried at Midway Cemetery >south of Lee. It's a ways. Midway is about 8 miles south of Madison just off Highway 53. If you go east from there to Highway 255 and turn north, any one of a number of roads would take you to the River Road which roughly parallels the river. I would guess Midway is about 10 miles from the river.
