I have been researching my Johnson Family who came from Alabama to Jasper around 1865, plus or minus a few years. John D. Johnson, and his mother Sarah A. Johnson, my GGGranddad, and GGGGrandmother came from the Dothan area of Alabama to Jasper. John D. married Narcissa Dees in 1874, and they had 4 children. Walter, Tom, Joe, and John V. Joe died at the age of 2 or 3, and John V. was my GGranddad. Have yet to determine what happened to Narcissa, but John D. remarried in 1895 to Millie Green in Live Oak. Walter, Tom, Joe, and John V. were all born in Jasper in the mid 1870's to the early 1880's. John D. and Millie Green had several more children, one of which was Albert Clay Johnson. John V. married Julia Warren in the early 1900's. She was born in Columbia County. Between them, there was Willie Milton, James Carvie, Seleaner Estelle, Homer, Audrey, Leroy, and Johnny Allen, all born in Live Oak. They all moved to Minneola, in the late 1920's or early 1930's. John V. died in Gadsden County in Dec. of 1953, and I have heard is burried in Marybelle Cemetery. Possibly in an unmarked grave. I beleive Homer is also burried in Live Oak, but do not know where. He died at the age of 7. Would like to find any information possible on Narcissa, and also would like to know the exact location of John V. and Homer. Any help on this family would be greatly appreciated.............Jimmy...........jimmyj0664@aol.com
