Bette, There is a spring in Suwannee Co. called Telford Spring, in the settlement of Luraville, just across from Lafayette Co. I don't know if that would be of any help to you, but I thought it interesting. My Grant family settled at a place that was called Grant Springs (O'Brien area), and there is also a WAlker Springs in Suwannee County. Marsha, Telford Spring is named for William Brazelton Telford. When I was a child, we went swimming there all the time. We'd put watermelons in the boil and after swimming we'd eat them - they would be ice cold!
