    3. My Taylors descend from Henry Taylor, RS who was born about 1750 in St. George Parish, Georgia. His father was William Taylor who was a colonial settler. Henry and his family refugeed to South Carolina where they lived in the Barnwell District for a few years, then returned to Burke County, GA .This family was in Washington,. Burke, Montgomery, Appling and Bacon County Ga. Gordon Stewart Taylor (grandson of Henry) settled in Baker County, FL and founded the town of Taylor. If any of this is familiar let me know.
