Re: Williams Surname, Geolin Leola Victre "Lela" Cheshire, born 15 Mar 1888 in Hamilton Co, FL married Benjamin Franklin Williams. Lela met Ben Williams at White Springs, Hamilton Co, FL. They married and moved to Ft. McCoy, FL where he operated a wood planer mill. They later moved to Terrill, FL south of Bushnell and then to Oak, FL which is near Ocala in Marion County. Ben retired from Irvine (FL) Fruit Co near Williston. They moved to Lake Lockloosa near Hawthorne (Alachua Co) FL. He was later in a nursing home at Hollister (Putnam Co) FL near Palatka. His brother-in-law, David Quincy Cheshire was in the same facility and both died there. I visited them and talked with them on occasions.
