I would like to know if any of our members knows anything about A. D. Gaskins who is mentioned in the Suwannee County History (he was one of the first to introduce tobacco to Suwannee County after the Boll Weevil had destroyed the cotton crop. My interest in him is, he is my maternal grandfather, and for most of my life, I have been searching for ANYTHING on his first wife, Gertrude Scott Flowers Gaskins, who died of burns around 1911 or 1912. They were both natives of South Carolina (most likely Lake City) and were living in Suwannee County (probably in Live Oak) at the time of her death and I would love to find something regarding her untimely death.
