Fl Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Fl/Suwannee/585 Surname: HURST, THOMPSON, WILLIAMS ------------------------- Sue: Simon THOMPSON's birth date of [abt] 1855 is what has been associated with HURST family trees where Elizabeth T. HURST appears. The 1880 Census shows Simon to be 23 and Elizabeth to be 17, which would make both assumed birth dates (Simon and Elizabeth) to be in error. Family history has both born in Suwannee County. I know when Elizabeth died but not Simon, nor do I know where the are buried. That has been the only information uncovered so far. I don't have any children shown for Rachel and Elisha. Their marriage license can be found in the Suwannee County Courthouse in Suwannee County Marriages, Volume 1, Page 16. Steve
Do you have access to the book, "Discovering Genealogical Roots in Suwannee County" by Rev. Harold Bennett? It has a number of mentions of the Hurst and Thonpson families in the index.
