My grandfather, Arlington Dillon Gaskins, was from a large family and they ended up scattered all over South Carolina. I have a copy of a book researched and written by Jason Cockfield a couple of years ago which covers the Gaskins and their ancestors through 10 generations...starting with James Bigham of South Carolina's Pee Dee region.
