Hello Grace, I have no Rosier as yet. But as you can tell I have no maiden name on Rachel nor Mariah. There were many Joseph Jackson's in SC. York Co has some of them as does, Edgecomb, Barnwell and Charleston. I would think that your Joseph Rosier might be named after his Mother's father. If he was a second son you can almost count on it. A lot of the Jackson's from South Carolina went to Tennessee and Kentucky too. Rachel & Joseph had a son named Thompson. I keep finding Rachel Thompson's, but, never one that could be mine.
