Winnette, I recall in a S. Carolina census, that the eldest daughter of Joseph Jackson Rosier, was named Rachel. We were trying to figure out how she fit in the whole picture, as according to the census and some marriage data, she would have been born prior to the marriage date we had. Thank you for responding and will keep looking. I would think that your Joseph Rosier might be named after his Mother's father. If he was a second son you can almost count on it. A lot of the Jackson's from South Carolina went to Tennessee and Kentucky too. > >Rachel & Joseph had a son named Thompson. I keep finding Rachel Thompson's, but, never one that could be mine. I will keep an eye out for your Joseph Jackson Rosier connection. May be you will keep an eye out for Rachel Thompson. > >Best Regards, > >Winnette > > > >============================== >Join the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project: >Linking the world, one GEDCOM at a time. >http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com >
