    3. Hi Mike, I don't have the answer to your query but I did find the name Daniel McAlpin mentioned 3 times in "Discovering Genealogical Roots in Suwanee County, Florida (late 1700's to early 1900's" by the Rev. Harold Borden Bennett. 1. He was a witness to the Will of Nancy M. Parshley, May 21, 1890. 2. He was State Representative for Suwannee County 1875-76 3. Live Oak Cemetery - Daniel Munn McAlpin b.1844, d. 1893 General statement on McAlpin: "I would like to give notice to the many Scottish names that have been settlers in this part of the world. I will list some common names with some background regarding heritage. 1). MacAlpin...son of Alpin, descended from Kenneth MacAlpine, an early ancestor of the Scottish kings,". There was also a McAlpin on the City Council in Live Oak in 1889. Hope this helps some, Rick -----Original Message----- From: Mike & Tammy [mailto:mikej1957@mindspring.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2000 7:29 PM To: FLSUWANN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [FLSUWANN] Please help I am looking for a Mary Elizabeth Tuten, b. ~ 1836, SC.
