I know that William B. Williams is my ggf. and that John Henry Williams is my gf. both are in the Midway Baptist Cemetary....I can't get beyond that to know who my gggf. would be....I have been given a Samuel H. Williams which came from Ga. and was killled in the cvw. I just need to verify that someway....He was born between 1838-1837. Supposedly married Elizabeth Webb and they had two children before he went to war....Williams Williams and Ellen Elizabeth Williams. That is where I am in this quest....I know that there are about 3 sets of Williams in Madison census of 1850...just can't put my ggf. with the right set.
