    3. Hi Sharon, I do not connect with the families that you mention below but I do connect with the Osteen family and indirectly with John C. Poncher. My 3rd great grandmother was Ailsy Osteen, spouse of Jeremiah Chancey, and daughter of Obediah Osteen. John C. Poncher of Suwannee and Lafayette Counties was the "supposed assassin" of my 2nd great grandfather. I have a story relating to the events prior to and after the assassination at the following site. If you are not aware of the circumstances and are interested please visit. My mother and father are from Lafayette and Suwannee County respectively so a great deal of my research time is in the area. I visited your Web Site and was impressed. Very nice job. Take care, Rick -----Original Message----- From: Sharon [mailto:shadri@perry.gulfnet.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2001 10:06 PM To: FLSUWANN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [FLSUWANN] ROBINSON Hello All, Do any of you connect to any of the following folks largely from Suwannee County, Florida? 3. I am desperately seeking any info available on my g-grandmother. Her name was Susie Harral, born in Suwannee Fl. abt 19 Feb. 1857. She was taken (by her parents) and left in Ga. just across the Ga/Fl line into what was then Coffee County. She was pregnant with her first child at that time. She told her family that she had 2 sisters and 1 brother and she never saw them again. She married Tom Newbern in 1882 and lived the rest of her life in Coffee and Tift Counties, Ga and is buried in the cemetery in Tifton Ga. You see the father of her baby was a man whose last name was Thomas and his father was a dr. This is my grandfather's line. Thank you for any help. Maggie Golden email mareitha@hotmail.com

There will be a third draft to be looked at then it will be ready for publication. What it looks like now is July, but this is only a guess could be sooner.
