    3. I have limited info on the Williams of Suwannee Co. My William's migrated from SC through GA into FL by way of Gadsden Co then Suwannee. My g-gma was Mary Etta Williams, b. 1879, who married Thomas S. Brannan. Her parents were John F. Williams, b. 1851 and Julia E. Bembry. John F.'s parents were Benjamin, b.1815 and Nancy Heard. If any of this sounds familiar let me know. Brad Brannan

    3. Hello everyone, I am a Lee/Williams decendant from the Live Oak area. I am looking for information on my great great grandmother's Williams family. Her name was Ida Williams dob 1861- her parents were TJ and Laura Williams. According to the 1880 census she then had 4 sisters (Catharine, Mary E., Naemis and Laura E.) and 2 brothers (Thomas W. and Fredrick L.) Ida married a JM Lee in 1881. I understand that he died in his early 20's from an explosion at a crate mill. Ida was expecting my great grandfather Jefferson Dudley Lee at the time. Ida later married Elisha R. Bozeman, I know one of their children together was Milton Bozeman (Live Oak area). Anyone having information on these William's I would greatly appreciate your help locating any survivors. 3. I'm sorry - she's not one of mine and I don't recognize her. I assume you've located the grave? I have a book published maybe 15 years ago, indexing all the cemeteries in Lafayette. If you need a look-up I'll be glad to dig around and find it. Elaine Wellhoner McCreary mccreary@bestnetpc.com Elaine, that is a very kind and generous offer. I do not know where this grandmother is buried. William Riley her husband is buried in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery along with many of my ancestors. I do not know if she is there in an unmarked grave or if she is somewhere else. Many headstones have been destroyed at this cemetery over the past couple of years. I wept bitterly when I found my 3rd great-grandfather George Washington Driver's headstone broken and turned around backwards at the base. I took pictures that day, all over the cemetery in the old part were knocked over and broken stones. So sad. Sorry to ramble. I would appreciate the lookup if you find your book. If you need one for Suwannee let me know. Sharon

    3. I am familiar with the Brock family mentioned below. The father was called Hamm Brock and his wife was called Tump; her real name was Nora (probably Johns before marriage. They had the following children: Annie who married a John Williams in Madison county and raised a family there. He must have been a prosperous farmer because when I was a child they visited my family in Suwannee County and always had a big new beautiful new car. Arlie, who died quite young. Broward, who also died young. Doris, but I do not know who she married. Robert, who married Maybeline Landen. Rita, who, as far I know still lives in Suwannee county. Mrs. Nora Brock lived Most of her last years in Live Oak. ---------- >From: "Ron McCreary" <mccreary@bestnetpc.com> >To: FLSUWANN-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [FLSUWANN] Brock >Date: Tue, Aug 29, 2000, 9:56 PM > >The following Brocks are buried in Winnquepin Cemetery, off Highway 255 >south of Lee in Madison County almost to the Lafayette County line: > >Brock, John Hamiel 26 May 1886 - 13 Dec 1956 >Brock, Arlie E. 16 Jan 1919 - 19 Nov 1934 >Brock, J.
