Hi everyone, I'm looking for any info or contacts for the LIGHTBOWN families. Millard and Cooper Lightbown moved down from Washington DC to build houses in the Palm Beach area about 1912, and stayed through the boom years. Millard was b. 1884, m.1907 to Clella Loomis. Children: Maud, Ruth, Lynn. Owned Lightbown Constuction. Cooper was b.1886, m.Dyle, m2 Ella Murry. Children : Cooper Jr, Donald, and Mary Jane. He was president of Lightbown-Wadsworth Inc real estate and investments. Cooper was Mayor of Palm Beach from 1922-1928, and built the "Davies, Dillman and Stotesbury residences", often working with Addison Mizner. Do these names ring any bells? Can anyone advise me as to where to find histories, directories, etc. All hints, ideas, memories, help, or contacts are welcome.... -Bryan- My first posting to the list.
