Has anyone who researched the Floyds in South Carolina run across a Richard Bird Floyd who was born about 1805 in SC? He came to East TN and married Elizabeth ? Their children were Robert b. 1831, Isaac b. 1835, Thomas H. b. 1837, Richard b. 1836, Eli b. 1842, Henry b. 1844, Jemima b. 1845 and Jenny b. 1847. All the children married in East TN. Thomas H. married married Elizabeth McFalls and they had Arthur Floyd, Melinda, Isabella, and James Richard. Before he was married Thomas H. fought for the Union in the Civil War. James Richard, Thomas H.'s son, b. 1868 was my grandfather. I have this entire line if anyone is interested. Doris
