I am searching for information on the family of Louis B. and Lena _?_ Floyd. I found them on the soundex for 1910 in Amite Co, MS.. I could not find the film for the census, I looked at the university library in Hattiesburg and the local library where I live in Picayune MS, was missing both places. Does anyone know if there was a problem with Amite Co 1910 Census? I searched the 1920 soundex and did not find the family. She would have been born after the 1910 census to the above Louis and Lena. Sally died on 8/3/1958 in Houston Texas. She was married to Floyd William Herring Sr. She had been a deputy sheriff in Harris County for about 10 - 15 years at the time of her death. Sally had a sister called Bessie and one named Gladys.
