She cites the bible of Sampson Bethell (in possession of Livvie Tubb Simpson, Franklin, Tennessee) which has only initials. Military: Soldier in War of 1812. Residence: In 1815 moved family to Orange County, Indiana; later moved to Warrick County, Indiana. Buried: Newburgh Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio iv. REBECCA FLOYD, m. CLOUD BETHELL, Tennessee. Generation No. 3 3. JONATHAN3 FLOYD (CALEB2, THOMAS1) was born 28 December 1788 in Virginia, and died 03 January 1860 in Warrick County, Indiana. He married TILLITHA BETHELL 1815 in South Carolina, daughter of SAMPSON BETHELL and MARY CANTRELL. She was born 22 April 1795 in North Carolina, and died 12 November 1859 in Warrick County, Indiana. Notes for JONATHAN FLOYD: Buried at Floyd Cemetery in Warrick County, IN. (on land which Jonathan Floyd entered in 1838) Cemetery information supplied by Thomas J. Dillingham of Boonville, IN.
