I can't remember if I sent this query to the list or not, sorry if I did. I am looking for information on William Floyd, b. in Georgia abt. 1802 according to the 1850 Mississippi Census for Choctaw County. He married Laura Ellen Williangham about 1836 possibly in Alabama. Her family (John & Rebecca Tyler/Taylor Willingham) were living in Montgomery County, Alabama about that time, I believe that they were living in Troup County, Georgia prior to the move. I believe that William died before 1860. Their oldest son John was born in Alabama abt. 1837/38. They moved to Oktibbeha County, Mississippi by 1840 as they are shown on the census there. The rest of their children were Rebecca, b. abt. 1840, Amanda Ellen, b. abt. 1841, Tyler/Taylor, b. abt. 1842, Nancy, b. abt. 1844, William, b. 11-7-1846, and Martha Jane, b. abt. 1849.
