Wayne County, Tennessee Last Updated 1 March 1999 ALBERT FLOYD CEMETERY Transcribed and submitted by Nelle J. BERRY This cemetery is on Ross Creek, Wayne County, Tennessee about one mile from the Clifton Airport. It is a very old cemetery, overgrown, with all the markers and stones down. These family members were interred with love and care; many markers were sawed on three sides but left unengraved. Several were covered with large stones, and some with stone cairns. The cemetery is on the W. G. HOWELL farm. Mr. HOWELL has the cemetery fenced off from the cattle and helped us dig and search for the markers. He also had his gates open so we could frive to the location. Albert FLOYD, born Jan. 2, 1810, died March 6, 1902. Jane CHURCHWELL FLOYD, born Aug. 16, 1827, died Jan 17, 1911.
