Clifford's parents were John Joshua Hodges(June 1866 in Charlton Co., GA died bef 1920) and Courtney Victoria Crews Hodges(06 Jul 1870, Charlton Co., GA and died 22 Dec 1949 in MAcclenny, Baker Co., FL) Joshua's parents were Willis Aaron Hodges(01 Aug 1812 in Reidsville, Tattnall Co., GA and died 17 Aug 1886 in Moniac, Charlton Co., GA) and Mahalia Johns. Willis' parents were William Henry Hodges and Anne Blitch. Hersey: I am connected through the Hersey's by my grandmother, Allie Hersey(April 11, 1911 in GA and died April 1, 1975 in Macclenny, Baker Co., FL). Allie's parents were Jacob(Jake) Hersey(17 Jun 1877 in Coffee County GA and died 11 Nov 1963 in Alachua Co., FL and Jake married 3 times after Margaret) and Margaret Hersey (1884 Ware County, GA). Jake's parents were Elkanah George Washington Hersey(Ellender in the 1880 census)(18 May 1831 in Appling Co, GA and died 07 Jun 1883 in Coffee County GA) and Charlotte Surrency (1837 in Tattnall Co., GA). Elkanah's parents were Thomas Hersey and Rebecca Spivey. Margaret's parents were: Enoch Marion Hersey(June 1848 GA) and Mary Bagley(1843). Enoch's parents were Thomas Hersey and Rebecca Spivey. Jake married Myrtice Aldridge 03 Mar 1922, then he married Mary 1930(census for 1930 has her) and he married Maude Futch in 1940 and they had two children: Jake Hersey jr and George Francis Hersey. I am looking for more info on Margaret Hersey. Bagley: I am connected to the Bagley's through Mary Bagley. Mark's parents were John Lott III(1742 in Edgcombe Co, NC and died 01 Jul 1810 in Tattnall Co., GA) and Sarah Lightfoot (1748 in Duplin Co, NC and died 01 Aug 1818 in Tattnall Co., GA). Roberts: I am connected to the Roberts family though Gray Stock Roberts(25 Nov 1793 in Burke County, Ga and died 23 Dec 1862 in Coffee Co., GA) who married Sarah (Sallie) Lott(22 Sep 1797 in Bullock Co, GA and died 18 Jun 1878 in Coffee Co., GA). Gray's parents were Robert Roberts and Sarah's parents were Mark Lott and Deliah Jones. Meeks: I am connected to the Meeks through two children of Gray Stock and Sarah. 1. Gray Stock Roberts Jr(13 Feb 1832 in Ware Co., Georgia and died 21 Jun 1864 in Cold Harbor, VA) and Mary Ann Elizabeth Meeks(12 Mar 1836 in Emanuel Co, Ga and died 15 Jun 1894 in Coffee Co., GA). Her parents were Charles C. Meeks and Lydia Riner. 2. Mary Roberts (02 Jan 1835 in Ware Co., Georgia and died 06 Oct 1907 in Coffee Co., GA. She married Edward Simpson Meeks (30 Aug 1831 in Appling, GA and died 14 Mar 1905 in Coffee Co., GA). His parents are the same. There are more surnames that I am associated with but they are connected to the families above. Like Gaskins, Grantham and more. So that are the names I am researching.
