Most of the following information has been taken from civil war and census records: My GGGrandfather Marion W. Page was born in Randolph Co., Ga, but at some point prior to 1862 he moved to Fl as he enlisted in the 5th Fla Inf (CSA) at Madison, Fl on 3-26-1862. He was married to Mary Thomas, also from Ga. He lost a leg at Antietam and was captured. He was paroled and at hospitalized at Lake City, Fl. He moved to Hernando Co., Fl near Lacoochee and lived there until his death in 1905. He was a Baptist preacher although civil war records list his occupation as blacksmith. His children included George Washington Page, Tilton Page, Lenora PageTom W. Page, John Page and M. Angela Page. M. Angie Page married my GGrandfather William Brown - probably in Hernando Co. Their first child Martin Washington Brown was born in Tiger Bay, Fl. Their other children (most born in Sumter Co., Fl) included Charlie L., J. Archie, Pascal, Mamie, Walter and William Andrew. Marion W.
