The 1870 Census also reads born Georgia. Also, please notice this says his father was born in South Carolina. The first-born child, William R., census reads born in Georgia, but the second child's (Elizabeth) reads born in Florida. So, figure they very well may have lived in Georgia previous to 1869. William HUDSON, born 1843, GA, or FLA, died 1886, possibly Florida. married: He(a)ttie Ruth SUMMERALL, abt 1864-65. This elder William Hudson is Buried: Old Summerall Plantation, near Lake City, FL, (Osceola National Forest).
