    3. Hi: Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I only have the draft registration copies for Indian River County. How I got them was through the LDS church rental program. The names are in order by county and then alphabetically by name. Of course, the complete index is on the internet in the Archives of the USGenWeb for Florida: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/fl/flfiles.htm The cost to rent the film is only $3.25 or $3.50 for 30 days. Check your yellow pages for a local LDS church and call them. I downloaded Indian River County indexes from the Archives and made a comparison to the microfilm. Because there are three draft registrations, each of the cards are slightly different and they ask different questions. Only one draft asks the place of birth--June 5, 1917. So if you are lucky and they are on that draft, they are worth having. But, even if you don't have the birthplace, other information is asked such as closest relative, where they work, whether they are native born, age. It is always exciting to get a copy of an original document that your ancestor signed. I have been using the cards to compare to the cemetery listings we have in this county and have made some very interesting finds. It is definitely well worth the search. Good Luck! Pam -- Pamela J.
