Trying to track a George A. Davis that died in Polk County,Fl in 1923. He was issued a land patent in 1905 in Highlands County Fl for 160 acres. I think he committed suicide but am not certain. I believe his wife was of Latin descent and he immigrated from Wales. Highlands County was part of DeSota County around that period Alex Hull
