Hello. .I am looking for the parents of my Allison Jeffcoat b.1840 in GA.He had a brother named Wes and a sister named Elisha.Wes and Elisha moved on to Jacksonville FL.after Civil War. Allison was in 17th Inf Co"G"GA. He married a Lizzie Lindsey abt.1865. They had sons Samual J. b.1867 in AL. Then Wes and Alfred ,then Allie Allison b.1875 in GA. In 1880 Allison Jeffcoat married Martha Middleton in Tyler Co,TX.Where he lived and died. They had 12 more children. I have recently learned that a Cynthia Lindsey b.1849 in Coffee Co,AL married a Allison Jeffcoat...They had a son Samual b.1867 and 1 daughter Elisabeth b.1869. I am hoping this is my Lizzie Lindsey I am looking for. Cynthia Lindsey was the daughter of Jordan Lindsey b.1817 in GA.His father was John Lindsey b.1797....They resided in Coffee Co,AL. In 1870 census of Crenshaw Co,AL. There listed was Cynthia and Allison with son Samual and Elisabeth.
