    2. THE AMELIA ISLAND GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, Inc. Meets Tuesday, 7:00 P.M., April 20, 1999 in the Galleon Room, at the Amelia Island Museum of History South 3rd & Cedar Street Fernandina Beach, FL Ann Staley will be our honored speaker. She has been a lecturer and instructor for 19 years. Ann is a life member of The Jacksonville Genealogical Society, Inc. and presently serves as Education Chairman for JGS. She is a featured speaker, who is listed on The Florida Genealogist web site, and has written a monthly genealogy column for the Clay County Leader, as well as many other noteworthy achievements. Ann Staley's topic will be "NEWSPAPER RESEARCH - BEYOND THE HEADLINES." If you aren't using newspapers in your research, now is the time to find out the many ways they can make a difference. For those of you who have used newspapers, come and see if there's some new avenues to explore. There is so much information waiting to be uncovered. There will be a question and answer period. The meeting is open to the public without charge. Visitors are welcome, and we invite you to become members.
