    1. Re: FL Death Index Check Results: Sherwood

    3. Jennifer, Nineteen sixty-five was a bad year for Florida Sherwoods, I guess. Eight of them passed on--six in SW FL, one in Volusia County (Daytona Beach area), and your Uncle Clarence. He is listed as Clarence Beauford (rather than Buford) Sherwood, Sr. He died in Dade County in July of 1965. The day is not given in the index in that period, but the certificate will have it. His record is filed in Vol 2718, Cert 32380. As I indicated, we don't yet know enough about Alma to check more than thirty years. When you've talked to your father (and perhaps that living Clarence Sherwood that I suggested), I'll try to find Alma if you find she died in Florida. Good luck! As to a copy of the obituary, my experience with librarians is that they prefer that such requests come in by Interlibrary Loan from your local library. Any list-member librarians want to confirm or correct that for us? --Brian Michaels ************************************ Timothy Braswell wrote: > > Thanks, Brian.
