Fellow Listers, Thanks for your confidence: My e-mail server served me 30 messages just this morning, several with multiple requests, and I expect in the fulness of time to answer them all. However,... I must now ask you to bear with me for a bit. We are in the last two weeks of the spring term; I am swamped with research papers, exams, and the like, and I am seriously behind in dealing with them. I suggested to my boss that if he would appoint me "genealogist in residence" I would not even ask for a raise. Unfortunately, I don't think he is seriously considering that particular proposal. Therefore, I must now "pull in my horns" for the next ten days or so. Shortly after graduation (April 30), I'll be back trying to fill your requests. I'm not going to unsubscribe, so feel free to send in items that are not urgent--unless you already have submitted something to which I've not responded, in which case, please wait for an answer before submitting another request. If I get a few free minutes one or two of you may hear something sooner, but don't hold your breath. Sorry for the delay, but remember the old saw, "All things come to him who waits" (provided, of course, that he lives long enough). Allbest to all. --Brian Michaels
